Macau Academic Library Alliance (MALA)

Founded in 2013, Macau Academic Library Alliance (MALA) aims to build up an effective communication platform to achieve the mutual cooperation and resources sharing, as to attain a cost-benefit way on library acquisitions, resources development and sharing, inter-library loan. This alliance includes below Macau higher education institutions libraries listed below.

Macau Academic Library Alliance (MALA) E-Resources Center is a virtual platform to house some commonly-used electronic databases, which are used by staff and students in these institutions in Macau. Staff and students in these higher education institutions in Macau are eligible to access to all authorized electronic resources below by MALA.

It provides a simple, one stop search from the nine academic libraries in Macau for books, journals, multimedia, e-resources, articles, theses, dissertations, and more.

It collects the Theses and Dissertations resources of nine higher education institutions in Macao and provides a simple one-stop search from the nine academic libraries in Macau for Theses and Dissertations.

This portal collects the scholar publication resources of 10 higher education institutions in Macao and provides a simple one-stop search from the nine academic libraries in Macao for scholar publications.

MALA HUB - Portuguese Portal

It provides a simple, one stop search from the ten academic libraries in Macao for books, journals, multimedia, e-resources, articles, theses, dissertations and more, in Portuguese language.

MALA HUB - Open Access Resources Portal

The portal collects the open access resources from the local publishers, societies/associations, educational institutions and government departments of Macao.

MALA HUB - Macau Studies Resource Portal

It provides a simple, one stop search from the ten academic libraries in Macao for books, journals, multimedia, e-resources, articles, theses, dissertations and more, about Macau Studies resource.

With Macau Academic Library Alliance (MALA) interlibrary loan, all UTM students and staff are eligible to visit and borrow printed books from 6 other academic libraries in Macau. You can search and request the book you want online at MALA HUB.
