The Macao Library Week has arrived once again. In order to promote the library and increase students' awareness of “Reading day in the city of Macau”, the library has organized the following activities in Taipa Campus Library:
1. Intangible Cultural Heritage Series: "Graceful and Swaying" Kite Exhibition
Kite-making skill is a national intangible cultural heritage. In order to promote this traditional craft to the public, the School of Continuing Education of UTM and the Macao Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Kite Association jointly organized the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage Series: "Graceful and Swaying" - Seminar on the Art of Kite Flying and Handmade Kite Workshop’.The outstanding works of the teachers and students participating in this event will be exhibited in the Taipa Campus Library.

2. Melodious Storytelling ‘Home Of Peace’
To promote a reading culture and increase students' awareness of World Book Day, the UTM Volunteer Circle, in collaboration with the library, organized this event to foster students' interest in reading. Simultaneously, during the event, book sharing sessions will be provided to facilitate in-depth discussions and experiences related to reading.

3. "Discover Macanese Cuisine"
"Discover Macanese Cuisine"is hosted by UTM library, supported by MACRA, our Assistant Professor, Ubaldino Couto and lecturer Carolina Nogueira will provide an overview on the characteristics of Macanese cuisine and its evolution. Participants will also have the opportunity to taste these Macanese snacks prepared by our Educational Restaurant. 4. “The German Photo Book Prize Exhibition”
Presented by the Macao University of Tourism Library in collaboration with MLIMA and Goethe-Institute Hongkong, the exhibition showcase the award-winning photo books of German Photo Book Prize for year 2022.
Founded in 1975, the German Photobook Prize is a competition in which the jury awards the best photo books in German-speaking countries. The award honors special achievement by authors, photographers and publishers in the photo book sector.
