Macao University of Tourism Library Hosts DBA Student Resource Sharing Session
【Event Location: Classroom FB113, Taipa Campus | September 4, 2026】
UTM Library organized a resource sharing session specifically for Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) students. The event aimed to help students gain a deeper understanding of the library's collections and their application techniques, thereby enhancing research efficiency.
During the session, library representatives provided detailed explanations of key research resources, including electronic journals, thesis databases, and citation analysis tools. Additionally, students learned about the interlibrary loan service offered by the Macau Academic Library Alliance (MALA), which enables them to borrow materials from other institutions, broadening their academic research scope.
Remote access functionality was one of the key highlights of the event. Representatives showcased how to utilize the university's authorized electronic resource platforms, allowing students to easily retrieve essential research materials even when off-campus, thereby increasing research flexibility. The session also covered practical tips for using Google Scholar, specific methods for the Document Delivery Service (DDS), and instructions on EndNote.
The event received enthusiastic feedback from students, with many participants noting that the session provided them with a more comprehensive grasp of library resources. They expressed intentions to more proactively leverage these tools in their future academic endeavors. The library, in turn, committed to hosting similar events ongoing to better address students' research needs.
